I'm a proud owner of E200C, 2.0l, 16V, 136HP, 1995, M 111.940. Two weeks ago the ECU was stolen and since then I am spending more time on that than on my work. So I came here for help. Beside from being victimized the part turned to be quite expensive (if new) and quite hard to find (if used). The insurance company where my car is FULLY insured refused to pay anything for the damage.

The Mercedes dealer here (Bulgaria) told me the part number of the ECU: 015 545 7032. I hope it is the correct one. When I found out that I can not find the same part easily I started to look for a compatible one.

My question is - Is there any other compatible part that would work as the original one? What is its part number? Also can you recommend where to look for it?
