Just picked up my E63 with 19 miles on gthe odo - how real is the 1k break-in period and I'm hearing a "ticking" at Idle..is that normal? thanks

 

yes that is normal. all the AMGs 63 seem to do that and alot of people complain. and yes break in is necessary, it sucks because i know its hard not to full throttle that car and hear the rumble. and i recommend changing the oil at 2000-3000 miles. then after that go with the normal 13000 miles intervals.
