CHANCES ARE THAT IT IS PROBABLY A CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. THERE ARE TYPICALLY TWO THINGS WHICH CAN CAUSE THIS. THE K40 RELAY MODULE AND THE CRANK SENSOR. I HAVE NEVER HAD A FUEL PUMP FAIL ON A 210 CHASIS SO I DOUBT ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. DUE TO THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE, I WOULD REPLACE BOTH THE RELAY AND THE SENSOR. IF YOU WANT TO TEST THE CRANK SENSOR, REMOVE IT AND HEAT IT UP AND TEST CONTINUITY ACROSS THE PINS. SHOULD BE 1.1K-1.2K OHMS IN A COLD/AMBIENT TEMP CONDITION. AS IT HEATS UP, RESISTANCE WILL RISE, SHOULD STAY PROBABLY UNDER 5K OHMS. ANYTHING OVER 20K OHMS IS PRETTY MUCH AN OPEN CIRCUIT. THE K40 CAN BE REMOVED WITH THE WIRING CONNECTED AND WITH THE CAR RUNNING OR IN POSITION 2, ROTATE THE RELAY AND ROLL IT AROUND IN YOUR HAND. IF YOU HEAR CLICKING, ENGINE STALLING, OR THE AUX FAN CYCLING ON/OFF, THIS IS FAULTY. ABOUT $120 FOR K40 AND $160 FOR CRANK SENSOR (FROM DEALER)
