how do I get the dvd to play through the gps screen,, i was told that it would work with euro comand....any info.. would help

 

Depends on the model and year of your MB. And if it's a US spec or ROW spec.

If you have a CD-rom unit, you would either need an MB TV tuner or an aftermarket video adapter - you can use both to hook up a DVD player.

If you have a DVD comand (for W211, W219, W220 or R171), you can play movie DVDs in the comand's slot... Provided that you have a Euro spec, of course.

If you have a DVD comand for a W203 or a W209, for instance, you will need an MB TV tuner to hook up a DVD player.

You either need to change to euro COMAND or connect a/v adapter to watch DVDs.
