I just purchased a 2005 SL500. The orange digital clock in the center of the dash is very dim, and I can barely see it unless it is at night. Is there any adjustment other than turning the reset button on the instrument cluster (this does not get it bright enough)?

 

On the back of that cluster there should be an illumination light connected to a plugthat's inserted. Probably best to replace the bulb with something similar
