diagnostic path choice on P 0600 code

I am trying to see if anyone in this group knows the concept of P0600 and its diagnostic path choices? Thanks Bill

Looks like it is a serial comms error.

What were you doing to promote it and i'll see if I can find anything that might help.

I believe you have to be a engineer with a PHD to understand the comms error.Sorry I can't help you with this. This is really techincal stuuf

nothing car was towed in with the code and was at a body shop prior

Bill,
OK. I don't have a PhD but let see if I can help any further.
So you were towed in and got a P0600.
I've already stated PO600 is a generic comms error.

A little more info might help. Model, Age, Mileage, Symptoms, What was being done in the body shop (electric welding?) etc.

Why did you ask for the concept of P0600 rather than "What's wrong with my car?"
