I have an 2005 ML 500. I washed my remote and can no longer use the electronics to lock, set alarm. I'm shocked at what Mercedes gets for a programed key. Is there an alternative? Can my remote be made to work again or can I buy one and find someone to program it. Thank you for any ideas, Dave

Yes, expensive. Used to have the ability to buy on line, but no more - dealer only item. Shop around.

 

Sorry to shock you. I don't find inadvertently leaving the key in my levies shocking and didn't think elaborating necessary to the question. Apparently there is no good answer. Dave
