Default Converting to Mobil 1 synthetic oil

My '97 C280 has about 165,000 miles and only conventional Mobil 1 oil has been used in it. This car has never leaked oil and uses very little, if any between its' 7,500 mile oil change intervals. I never have to add oil between changes. I'm considering switching to Mobil 1 SuperSyn 10w-40 for high mileage vehicles > 75,000 miles. This car is only driven in climates above 15 degrees F and usually much hotter, here in the hot, humid Southeast U.S.

I would appreciate some input addressing whether or not a switch to this synthetic oil will likely cause a leaking problem in my '97 165,000 mile C280. Should I leave well enough alone? Thank you.
