Hi,
I'm new to mercedes cars. I just purchased a used 1998 C280. When I start the car, the area where it's suppsed to show the total milege, it will display a clock icon, followed by an box wrench icon then a dash and the digits 562 for the first minute then it shows the total mileage on the car. Is this normal?
Second question:
The steering wheel makes a squeeky noise, could that be the steering fliud needing a flush?
Third Question:
Some times the seat adjustment controls don't work and they will start working after 2-3 minutes, what could be the issue?
Fourth Question:
It's a c280 sport, does this thing come with a built in Sub?
Thanks for your time.
Bullish

u need to reset ur service light. what u see means that ur service is exceeded by 562 days. the last reset was roughly 1.5 yrs ago.
ur steering column goes out on ur fire wall where there is a rubber seal on it. u probably need to lubricate it w silicone spray.
u need to change ur seat switch.

Thanks for your response.
one more question, I looked up how to reset the service light, but I don't know here is the reset button.
I see four buttons on the speedometer, one more minutes, one for hours, (on the right side). + , - and a 0 button on the left side.
