Traded 530 BMW for 2006 CLK500 cabriolet. Have a problem, other owners please advise!
1) When parked up or down the hill the car rolls... If facing up on a hill in park and put the car in Drive, it rolls back. If facing down up on a hill and put in Reverse the car rolls forward as if in Neutral. The steaper the slope the faster the car rolls. It makes it impossible to parallel park on hills, it will run ina closely parked vehicle!
Car under warranty. MB said it's 722.9 transmissionhas "No hold feature" and is normal, and that was changed after 2006 models.
2)Also the doors are hard to open, MB also said it's normal for cabriolet.
3)Windows keep leaking wind noise on a freeway even after replaced seals.
Drove every model in my life as i travel a lot and NEVER seen anything like this! PLEASE see if your CLK up to 2006 models oes the same.Thank you.

did you put it on P or N while in park and the parking brake engage?
yes, your model got no "hold" feauture since it is hydraulic. only on SBC or electric version EPB that have (opening the door for example engages the brake automatically).

Thank you, that's what they said. I just think this should if been recalled. It is not only an inconvenience buta potential hazard that will cost you money in repairs sooner ot later. Every day I have towalka blockjust to park ona flatter street. Not acceptiable feature to put in an 80K car!
It's ok when in Park. You get the picture what i an talking aboutI am sure. I have never seenAny car do that. They changed it after 2006 models, wished I knew...
