Climate control "Doesnt"
Hi, 86 420 SEL: A/C will come on, blower will run about 1 minute, then blower stops suddenly. Turn it off, turn it back on, it will repeat. Blower speed control switches willnot control speed; blower operates in auto mode always.

Ideas?

RE: Climate control "Doesn’t"
Bit late but anyway here goes. Not sure if this will help but had a problem with my 1998 C180 with aircon cutting in and out and causing blower speed to change. Turned out to be that aircon refrigerant gas was overfilled.

i think he was talking about the inside blower and not the auxilliary fan?
if inside blower, then only two things:
>the motor shaft which drives the fan directly is binding and hard to move. lubricate it.
>the blower regulator is faulty. replace it.
