A class parking brake
I have a 1999 A class and trhe parking brake (hand brake hre in the UK) has now failed. I was told that rather than the cable snapping there was another problem it may be as A classes suffer from this. Does anyone know what this is and can i rtepair this myself?

the cable is broken?
the other problem i see was that the brake drum seized sometimes. the same as MB100.
