THE LED INDICATED A BURNT BULB. I PUT ON THE LIGHT & CHECK. ONE OF THE PARKING/STANDING BULB DID NOT COME ON. I TOOK IT & CAREFULLY LOOKED AT IT EVEN WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS. ALL FILMENT OR WHATEVER IT IS CALLED ARE INTACT. BEFORE MAKING A REPLACEMENT, HOW CAN YOU TELL IF IT IS BURNT. IS IT NOT THE SAME WAY, YOU CHECK HOUSE BULB WHEN IT IS BURN? E430 - 1997.
THANKS.
THANKS.

Most euro lamps will have a darker globe (glass) when failed. Do not rule out a faulty socket the bulb goes into. Also make sure you use silver socket bulbs not brass! The LED will know if the bulbs left to right are dissimilar. It will report a failed bulb, when in fact it works great!

Sometimes you can't see the break in the filament or sup[ply wires. You need to repalce with new to be sure or check bulb with a tester or multimeter for continuity / resistance but not open circuit.

The glass on the bulb is clear. As Snanceki said, it could be a broken filament that is hard to see with naked eye. Rather than checking the bulb with a tester, I will purchase a new bulb, probably less than $20.00 and save you guys and myself exchanging emails. The worst is that if the existing bulb is good, I will keep the new one for future. Thanks guys.
