Bose Amp Wiring

RE: Bose Amp Wiring
You are the man [sm=icon_rock.gif] !!! will try it tomorrow afterwork and let you know how it works out...
By the way... I'm missing the rear deck speakers cause the previous owner said they were broken and he's getting a 99 C43 now which he will give me later... (dunno how long that's going to take ) My question is now...
1) Are those woofers, cause according to the previous owner, he said they might be phone speakers.
2) If they are woofers, is there any way to get some non bose woofers? (Like a bazooka since it's powered? or some high quality alternatives you recommend)
3) If they have to be the bose, where can I get them in a reasonable price?
4) I just purchased this aux input made by blitzsafe product#MB/AUX DMX V.1A from enfig motors, which going behind the stock radio. How do you think the sound will come out from my Sony Vaio VGN-S360? Cause I am going to use this note booke as my media center....any suggestions for a better sound?
5) What kind of GPS is best for notebooks bluetooth or a PC card slot one? I mean how they compare to those pioneers that are $1400?

RE: Bose Amp Wiring
although i know a something about sound system and components, you will be in big trouble if i give you advise on matching them. i am very poor when it comes to it because i am not constantly exposed on modifications.
we got members who will answer it for you.

RE:Still need assistance on Bose Amp Wiring
Sleepwalker,
Still need your assistance on this as I have more wire than wha't shown on the picture, and the number label I posted was incorrect on the amp... not sure if you have noticed.
Here's what's done so far, could you please let me know if any wires are not connected correctly and let me know where they actually belong to... I had to cut the ground to extend the power cable, that's why you are seeing the same color cables on #9 and #26

(Numbers are from left to right the top row reads 18 to 26)

(2nd Row 10 to 17)

(Here's the other side of it from left to right reads 9 to 1)

and I have these cables remaining that I do not know where they belong to. Please help. Thanks!

Blue/White # (I have it connected to PIN #25 instead of #8 you mentioned in the last post, Please confirm which pin# it exactly goes on)
Now Let's Confirm the Thick Speaker Cables I've connected:
Thick Speaker Cables
#1 Nothing
#2 Purple
#3 Grey
#4 Green/Brown
#5 Orange
#6 Pink
#7 Nothing
#8 White (You mentioned the (thin Blue/White signal before, could you please confirm whaich cable goes on this pin?

#10 Nothing
#11 Purple/Brown
#12 Brown/Grey
#13 Green
#14 Brown/Orange

#16 Blank
#17 Brown/White

Thanks sleepwalker, really appreciate your time and effort spent helping me out with this!!! Hopefully with these pin#'s and wire size and color confirmed I won't have to bother you with this anymore.... Look forward to hear from you and hopefully the Bose from my car really want to hear some music...instead of just the engine sound everyday...
