92 400e I recieved cheap knowing the tranny leaks bad. I bought another tranny, replaced seal, and put it in...drove about 500 miles but leak, under bell housing, still occured. I take tranny out and put another seal in......same results...leaks continue..same place through the bell housing grate....ok, a bad tranny..I bought another one..put it in and SAME $^^%#@&*^& LEAK!!!! can there be something wrong with existing engine ,,flex plate etc, which would cause this? any help would be appreciated. thanx

 

did you replace gearbox seal or engine oil seal when the box was out.could be the rear crankshaft oil seal?
