Bad gas cap reset check engine light

I replace a bad gas cap ON A C320 2001 MERCEDES and now i want to how to reset chech engine light.
I know i ca drive x amount of mile and it should go off,is there a faster way to get the light off? Thank for any help

Check engine light should go off after 25 miles without stop. Faster way is to use OBD-II AutoScanner.

Faulty Gas Cap c320 2003

I have the same problem. Where did you go to purchase your new cap? I have a 2003 c320 Coupe and was quoted at Autozone for $80. Thanks!
