Auxillary charging port fuse
HI
I recently purchased my brand new GLB250. When I connected my car charger to the Auxillary charging port, the fuse for that port blew. I have had this issue in the past, when I connected the charger to KIA, Hyundai's (rentals) too..
Never faced an issue on BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Dodge & Ford rentals. (Rental cars when I go on vacation.). I purchased this fast charging (Input: 12-24VDC, Output: 5VDC, 6.2A) auxillary charger few years ago from Best Buy Canada. The issue was found on the get go on Hyundai and Kia. Been using this charger on my Nissan Pathfinder without any fuse blown.
Its happening on the brand new Mercedes now...
Any idea why this is happening , and how to avoid this? Other than the obvious option to replace it...
