Hello and welcome to the forum! From what I've read this is possible; but the only requirement for this to work is that your Mercedes-Benz must have the 30 pin iPod / iPhone adapter. In case it doesn't have this, you can simply play your music by plugging in an aux cable.

I think it is in the glove box.

Yes, that's what I have - I don't remember if I have the Apple one or not, but it sometimes cuts out for me, that's why I started using the aux cord.

I bought the adapter for the 30 pin aux cord and I'm now able to play the music on my phone. However, the volume is very low, nowhere near the loudness I get from cd radio or satellite. Does anyone know why? I'd really like to be able to make it as loud as the rest of my audio functions. I still don't know why I can't run my phones music through Bluetooth.

Is the volume turned up all the way on the phone that you're using? It sometimes auto adjusts to a lower level when plugged in.

My 2013 C250 has a "Bluetooth Audio" selection in the system, which is totally wireless Bluetooth for music streaming. Your radio may be too early a model, but it wouldn't hurt to check if it has this.
