I want to ask you to look at your engine and tell me where a few of the vacuum hoses go.

1) There are two vacuum ports on the throttle-body, under air-meter.
Where do they lead, or are they plugged?

2) There is a vacuum hose to the EZL module located on the driver's fender-well.
Where does the other end of that hose go?

3) There is a vacuum hose that comes from the fuel pressure reguator. W
Where does the other end of that hose go.

Or if you would'nt mind taking a photo of the engine with the air filtre removed, I would greatly appreciate it.

Default RE: Anyone in here with a 1990 190e 2.6?

Hi Driver 450,

Thank you for posting. I am trying to put together an informalsuport-group for 190 owners. Itoo have a 190 since new, and I still absolutely love the car. But now that its getting older I'm finding it more difficult to findparts or service. We as owners need tonetwork together.Society is recycling these cars due to their age, but once they're gone, the ones remaining will becomecollector's items.

Another member hereactually made me a drawing of his vacuum lines. (which I might add was 100 times better than the factorydrawing) I got that sorted out, butlater found that a mouse hadchewed mycis controller cable, shorting out the unit.

The reason, I think, no-one has responded is becausemost of them have already exhausted their ideas trying to help me with this problem, and most of them will only contribute good solid knowledge, rather than mere speculation.
The new cis will put the car back on top, but no one could have foreseen that problem. I had to remove alot of trim and follow every wire to find it.

Driver450, you are welcome to contact me anytime. Also there are other 190 owners here. Iwill be glad to make drawings and share knowlege in any way I can. Congratulations on your 190.

Blue
