I cant seem to get my MB EPC cds to install.I have XP home and have no help from the seller off ebay.These are for cars up 2002 so they should work with XP.

Any tips?

 

search for the *.pdf file on the first cd and follow the instruction.

your LAN id must match with the license key. you know your license key? (i bet you don't).

 

so without a lan id and key I basically bought 2 coasters that say mercedes on them?

So if mine are useless does anybody know where i can get FULLY functional EPC cds that will work on XP? I have several benz that need stuff here and there which is why i got these cds.

 

you only get ripped off buying them online.

i fot a couple of hundred here ( older version ) which you can update by using DVD.

You need to have both CDs loaded simultaneously in order for the EPC to run. If you don't have two active CD-ROM drives, you'll need to use CD-ROM emulator software. I use an offering from Paragon Software. Just download the trial version and follow the simple instructions.

 

sleepwalker -- the U.S. version is much smaller and easier to deal with than the European version -- I know -- I have both versions up and running on different machines.

 

i have all the original version from germany. they send it to me every 4 months.

for as long as you have a 20 g hard disk, you don't need to use the dvd anymore. use the hard disk cache.

i got a WIS, STAR DIAGNOSIS and EPC key generator too.

 

What do you do with all that good stuff? Are you in the Benz business?

 

yes i am a technical advisor in mercedes-benz dealership.

but i got complete collection of bmw too. just tell me if you want some. i can break the iso file and store it online.

Ok i put both cds in at the same time and they copied onto my pc.Now when i go to open it doesnt do anything.uninstall and reinstall several times....same deal.
I have never had this much trouble before with EPC's.I have the newest BMW ETK and Porsche PET6 installed without a sweat.Could I have gotten bad cds?

Do you have any spare cds laying around that I might be able to acquire?
