Default Another Glow plug problem

Problem- When I go to start the car the glow plug light does not come on and the car is hard to start. If I try again it will only come on for a few seconds.

The Car- 82 mercedes 240d

So I have read threw some threads and this is what I have done. I changed the glow plugs about 9 months ago and it seemed to work fine until the last month. Only put about 4k miles on the car. I have checked the relay and it makes a click when I first turn the key and about 15 seconds later makes another click. I put the multi meter to it and it seems to be put voltage across until the second click. Any ideas what this could be?

No ideas, I have one what if when I turn the car over once or twice it heats the glow plugs alittle. That would explain why the light comes on for a short time after I try to start the car.

glow plug module on the left front fender under hood ,they always go bad you may want to alos check the glow plugs again to verify they are ok with a test light put to 12 volts then probe every pin on connector for glow plugs to verify good ground
