I have a 1990 300SE. I had my AC charged last year and it only seems to get cold when I get going on the highway. Well now it doesnt blow cold at all. It justplain blows.Obviously I will have to get it charged again but is there something I can do tobeef up the AC?Thanks for your help!

 

you must have a leak some where in the system if you have a contaminated system you must evacute and look for the leak also chang you orfice tube must be clogged the recharge and you do not need to boost it there is not anything else you can do you most likly have a bad compressor and leaking

 

your a/c system does not have a orfice tube it has a expansion valve. if recharging it works and it blows cold again you should get a mechanic to locate the leak and fix it. the rest of the system should be ok.
