1997 S320. After running with the A/C on heat starts coming out of the 2 side vents while cold air is coming out of the middle 2 vents. If I turn the car off and let it sit for a few minutes it is OK for a while then starts again. I have already replaced the control module as it wasn't working at all, but that didn't help. It was doing this before the control module quit. Any ideas?

Check your AC pressure and check for leaks. Your AC system may have a leak.

Sounds like the vacuum motors that control the flaps directing air throught the vents. They are located under the dash. Contact George Murphy, Phone: 423-482-9175 9am to 5pm ET Fax 423-482-9175 anytime to get the diaphram repair kit. You can fix this cheap!!
