so i have this 190 and i took it to the shop i dont know how many times because when i hit the gas the car would feel like if it was shifting back and forward between gears, the last thing they told was that the it needed a tune up..so when they tried to replace the rotor cap after trying to start the car they said that the camshaft came out and broke the rotor cap twice..they bought another one and snap it in half..again lol so they tell me its a 2k job but i could use that for something else. so would any one here be able to guide me on steps to replace the camshaft if possible. The valve-cover is stuck simply because it is well sealed, not a bad thing. Make EXTRA care that all eight bolts are removed. Tap on the cover side to side with a rubber mallet. No one will recommend prying on the aluminum cover for fear of warping or damaging it, but I have done it gently myself. Use a new gasket when you reinstall.
