Hey, I'm interested in getting an early 90's SL class soon, but I would like to know a few specs that vary between models.

I would like to know:

SL300, 500, and 600

Engine Liters/HP/Torque
Curbweight
Brakes/Sizes
Suspension Type

Any information will help. I'm trying to figure out which one would be most suitable for my wants and needs.

I'm looking for an all around nice car, but would also like it for weekend racing/showing.

This is pretty basic sorry,

SL300 24V = 167KW/~200hp I6
SL320 = 170KW205HP V6
SL500 = 240KW/320HP V8
SL600 = 300KW/400HP V12

Figures for Australian models and the HP is a basic conversion by me. Sometime about mid 90s they changed to a 5 speed auto, and the 6.0 was dowtuned by 10KW three times, meaning the last of the series had 270KW.

Not sure about weight, somewhere around 1800Kgs-2100Kgs, VERY HEAVY, around 120KGs more than the current model.

I'd pick a mid 90s 5 speed, 500 or 600 myself, with a back seat and as little electronic gadgets as cause problems.
