8mm viscous fan bolt
1991 500SL fan bolt removal...any trade secrets out there on how to keep my fan pully(water pump) from turning so I can remove the viscous fan bolt? I live by myself so I don't have anyone to help me. could I wedge something between belt and pulley? THANKS

When I replaced my water pump recently, I had same challenge. Consider the DIY info at below. same concept as your year and v8. worked for me just fine.
