'86 190D Wiring/shut off problems
I just bought a 86 190D, got it for real cheap but it has some issues. When you turn on the right blinker, lights, or press the horn, the windshield wiper turns on, but the functions themselves don't actually work. I don't know much about wiring, but could anyone let me know where to start? Also, when I turn the key off the engine still runs, luckily its a stick, so I just kill it in first gear, but I would like to fix the problem. Let me know if you have suggestions. Thanks.

I have no idea with the wiring, but as for it not turning off, its a diesel?..So, it could be a vaccum leak maybe. You could turn the car off using the stop bar under the hood. My 240D has this problem, what I do for now is lock my drivers door, turn off the key and it turns off the car.
