I need to replace the subframe bushings, has anyone done this or know where i can get directions
I removed the 2 subframe bolts on the drivers side, but the subframe doesnt drop down far enough to remove the old bushings
the fan is almost hitting the radiator -

 

My brother-in-law had the same issue. He took it to the local dealership for replacement. When it was written up the advisor informed him that a recall was open to replace the sub frame! which was prone to cracking. So as the recall was done he had the subframe bushings replaced as well as both engine mounts for an additional one labor hour charge plus the price of the parts. Check with the dealer and be ready to provide V.I.N number and chassis number to verify if recall still open. Good luck!
