Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and new to owning a Mecedes. My father-in-law gave me his 1973 Merceded 300SEL. It's in great shape except for the common problem of failed air supension.

It's a bit too expensive (ok a LOT too expensive) for me to try and restore the original suspension at this point so I am looking for less exepnsive alternatves that will allow me to drive the car.

Are there some type of conversion kits available?

or is there some way to put springs and shocks under this car?

Any advice is much appreciated.
