I can't figure out why this car won't fire up. Here are the new parts--plugs, wires, ignition control unit, dist. cap, all the points, rotor button, ballast resistor and a buch of other stuff that I can't even remember. I dropped 2700.00 and this thing ran for a week. Unbelievable. On the way to work it backfired twice and then cut out. I cranked it a few times and it started back up. A few days later the same thing except it didn't run anymore. So the car sat for a while (a few months) and on the first hot day of spring (just for kicks) I turned the ignition and it came to life! This lasted for a week. The first cold snap after the warm weather arrived (typical GA weather) the car cut out on me again on the way to work but never regained consciousness. Anone have a clue as to what could be causing this? I really want to sell this car but I would like to have it running first. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks, Daniel
