380 SLC won't start - HELP
Hi guys,
I have a '81 380 SLC that will not start. It has been in storage for about a year and a half without running. It will run momentarily when I spray starting fluid in the intake. First I thought the injectors were clogged, turns out they're fine. I soon realized the air intake has no resistance behind it. I distinctly remember when working on the intake before if I pressed down on it there was resistance behind it. During the short times the car has been ran I can see the intake opening all the way. I thought the fuel distributer pin could be stuck up, so I removed the distributer (I did not disassemble it) and found the pin seemed fine and was in place. Could I have a pressure problem within the fuel distributer? If so what is the culprit? A bad pressure regulator?
Thanks
Nick Hudson
