380 sl key

Default 380 sl key
proud new owner of a cream white 85 380 sl. car came with key that will work the ignition but will not lock the door. dealer suggested key might be worn and suggested a new key.

Get a key. I work at a dealer and got one for my 85 380sl for 10.91 like 4 years ago and that was the problem. Lock tumblers are also prone to failure, try to clean and lube the tumbler.
