I drove a 300 SD and the blower motor came on and then stopped blowing after a couple of minutes. Checked the fuses and all was good. anyone ever seen this before? The motor is supposed to be new. Thanks

 

I have had my 300sdl since 99 and it has done it the whole time. I just push one of the climate control buttons then the off button shuts it off right away. I never looked into anymore. But my 560sel that i have had since 04 never does it.

 

This one actually was working and it was like going to another speed and just stopped. I looked at a few things like the fuses and was not sure why it came on and stopped for no reason. I was actually thinking of buying the car but this bugs me. Should I stay away just because of this.

 

Did you try tapping it -the blower ? If that starts it again, probably the brushes are worn out. Not a big job.
