Hi, i have a 2003 C240. I am having occasional issues with ignition. Sometimes the car starts right up, other times it will crank and turn over repeatedly but not fire. I then have to turn the key to the off position, let sit for a while, turn to position one, let sit, then try again it and may or may not fire the second time. Sometimes it fires right away, sometimes it takes 4 or 5 tries to start up. Any ideas?

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! First guess that it has something to do with the starter, but I would suggest getting the codes read off the DTC just to be sure where the issue is coming from. Best of luck and please let us know if you have any other questions!

 

Maybe you can try disconnecting the cable connectors to your front seat motor?
