I have a 2001 S500 Mercedes with a misted Wing Mirror, driver side, how do I remove the mirror panel to replace with new one

 

if you need the wholw assembly there are 3 screws on the door. you fold the mirror in to access them, you need to take off the cover of the mirror first. raise the glass up and there is a metal clip inside on the bottom that holds the cover on. press the clip down them you must pull/slide off the cover. not sure if the clip is there 100% but i think thats the style you have.
