Mercedes Benz 1998 C280 Relay part # is 002-542-22-19 this will fix your power seats from doing crazy stuff.
Example:
Working only in the morning, only works every now and then, with door open, key in or out. Purchase k24 relay and all your problems will go away. My Benz dealer charged me $42.90 for a new relay
This is called k24 convenience / comfort relay. Located in the trunk underneath the carpet liner. On the right hand side.
Step by step directions…….What to look for.
Relay looks like a ice cube. The one your looking for is black. There will only be one k24 relay underneath the panel. So you cant screw it up. Here’s how to do it.
1) Remove carpet trunk liner. When I say remove, I mean pull it out! 2) Remove 3 plastic screws then pull off plastic panel. 3) Remove and replace k24 relay. It wont say k24…… but know this is k24. This all takes about 10min tops.
