Please help !! Bought 1998 C230 85k miles (4 door sedan) ran great for a couple of months now it wont start at random intervals. Taken it to 2 different MBZ certified mechanics who say there are "No codes" in the system and everything is working fine and of course 2 days or 2 weeks later same problem occurs. will always start the next day.

 

All depends on what you mean by it won't start.

Does it crank?
Does it try to start...sputter, cough
or is it totally dead when you turn the key.
What happens to the interior light...and the headlights if you turn them on...while you are trying to start it?

Answering the above may indicate whether it is battery, battery connections, ignition switch or key (not sure what type you have).
