1994 C220 elegance intermittently stopping
Hi
I am a new member and was wondering if anyone had experienced the following:
The car above runs beautifully and has just clocked 100,000 mls. However, for some time now the car, without warning, stops and may not start for a minute or two.
This may happen once a day, once a month or 4 times in 20m journey.
Yesterday I replaced the CPS, but the problem remains.
A Mercedes mechanic is an obvious answer, but there is no guarantee they can solve this without my selling my house.
Does anyone have any ideas? Fuel pump relay? Air mass flow meter etc?
