Default 1989 190E 2.6 OVERHEATING HELP!! PLEASE

The car rapidly overheats from just below 80c to 120c in five miles. I purchased the car a while ago but was sitting. I drove about 75 miles on the highway and noticed the temp coming up when idling. Today I flushed system put in fresh coolant, changed the thermostat and radiator cap it didn't help at all. The engine fan run autmatically at start up and auxillary fan come on. I do hear a noise from the engine fan almost like a bearing.I'm unsure of the proper turning rate. To the eye it may seems a little slow. It's not like you can see the indvidual blades or anything like that. All I do know is the temp rises quick and I'm concerned about major repairs.Radiator power flushed at Jif fy lube thermostat new what is proper temp 192? New cap? Please tell me it's not the head! I guess options are fan issue, can the radiaor still be clogged, water pump or head yikes any help would be appreciated.

Is it using coolant? Steam out the exhaust? Check the engine oil to see if its going there. You may need to pressure test the cooling system to see any leaks in hoses, water pump, head gasket, cylinder head or engine block.

If there are NO leaks and it passes the pressure test, you may have a bad water pump...... the impeller blades may have worn off, or the impeller came off the shaft.
