Default 1988 190E Trun Signals Don't work

When I actuate the turn signal arm either way, the interior arrows do not light up and there is no action on the outside of the car. Fuse is ok because the horn works...on the same circuit. Could it be the signal "flasher pot" I don't know the real name...the thing that typically looks like a little metal canister? If so...where is it located?

just out of interest thats the same arm that the window wiper is on right? also is your heated rear window button on the dash left of the wheel? and is it a rocker switch or a click switch?

Thats a common problem for these cars. Sometimes they freeze up and some electrical contact cleaner might help.

Ditto. Thanks for the post. My daughter had borrowed my wife's car and it came back with turn signals not working after 20 miles on a bumpy dirt road. I checked out all the fuses, the combo relay, etc. The hazard switch had apparently been bumped a bit. That was perhaps the easiest repair I've ever done. Switch on, switch off, everything works.
