My '86 300E has a cruise control issue. When I set the cruise, it pulsates like someone "goosing" the accelerator pedal every 2-3 seconds. I know it's probably the amplifier or the actuator, but I can't remember which! Thanks in advance for your help!

 

More than likly it's the amp. I took mine apart and it had a big crack across it but sometimes it's just a loose solder joint or loose wire. They are fairly easy to change
