1976-1979 Mercedes 450SL
[align=left]Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. I need your expert advice. I have always loved the look of the old Mercedes 450SL.
I am very interested in owning one. I must admit, however, I am just beginning to try to educate myself on this particular model.
I am considering the year models 1976-1979. I don't want to make a mistake in purchasing one. So, I would like to know
what I should be aware of in this pursuit. Is there a particular year model that was problematic in any way? I have heard that
rust can be a big issue. Really, I am totally naive on this car. I just love the look. My (somewhat) expertise in cars lies more
with the '70s corvettes which I am also currenly pursuing. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
