190E suspension noise
1993 190E 2.6 When cornering at lower speeds, it sounds like something is flexing in the suspension. Seems to be coming from the rear right side and happens most often when turning right. I jacked the car up and removed the wheels, tried to find anything loose or obviuosly worn, but didn't see anything. Strangely, when I drove the car afterwards, it didn'y make any noise for about the first 5 miles. Then the noise came back as before and remained. Anyone have any thoughts or similar experience? Thanks.

RE: 190E suspension noise
Is it a low or high pitched squeek or groan? It probably just needs some lube. I had a similar problem with my 190D on one side while going over speed bumps and around turns. Try using some WD-40 until it stops. Soak the whole area completely on the springs, at the spring base and on those shocks...all the joints. Push down on the bumper and rock your car while it has the oil on it until the noise stops. If it keeps squeeking after shaking it, spray and rock again.

kp21051,
I agree with AMG, it's probably just squeaky bushings.
Say, would you mind helping me by telling me where two vacuum hoses are connected on your car?. I also have a 190E 2.6, and I'm not sure my vacuum hoses are connected properly. Another member helped me with the hoses on the right, but now I'm trying to sort out the ones on the left.
