Default 190E sluggish electric window

Recently my drivers side electric window has gone very sluggish and occasionally won't open at all.

Is it worth lubricating all the moving window parts behind the door panel or am I looking at a new winder motor. Can the motor be stripped and lubed up?

Thanks

Thanks MyAMG,

I have decided that as you say the motor is probably on it's way out, that I'm gonna take it out and strip it, my opinion is that as it hasn't suffered burned windings it should be repairable and what have I to lose. Bye the way my job is to repair motors and micromotors.

I'll let you know how things turn out !! Watch this space.
