HELP.....
My 86 190E 2.3 started to hesitate and bog down when its cold and hesitates badly until the temp comes up to normal then runs fine. After 5 minutes of driving starts to bog down again. If you quickly turn off the ignition and turn it back on it is fine for another 5 minutes of driving and starts to hesitate and bog down again...
The fuel pump seems ok and I have replaced several relays....what I am missing....badly in need of advice

86 is before my MB experience.
Assuming your vehicle has multi coil electronic ignition rather than a single coil and distributor...this may not be the case however...I would suggest the crank position sensor (CPS).
These sensors seem to give symptoms similar to what you describe.
What you really need are the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) but once again your car is possible pre On BVoard Diagnostics (OBD).
Sorry I can't help more. I'm sure there are other members who can help however.

Could be the fuel filter or possibly the exhaust is clogged. Sometimes the Catilic converter will solidify and block the exhaust system and cause power loss.
Also check to see if your fuel tank is vented properly. If there is a vacuum in the fuel tank this would prevent the fuel from getting to your fuel distributor.
