Default 190: different engine choices

I'm getting a lot of negative comments about my car being loud and stuff so I've been tossing around the idea of doing an engine swap on the 190D. (just an idea). Even with the Evo kit I'm putting on it soon, there will still be comments most likely. I know the C36 AMG engine will bolt right on, but are there any other engines that are like that? Perhaps one of the newer dieselor gas engines? I would like to stay away from AMG because of killer costs.

Look for the get go i was wondering y u were doing all this stuff to a diesel. Look u have a diesel car and converting it to an non diesel or even changing the current motor is not a good idea cause u have a low mileage diesel i n what seems to be good condition. If you would want to do something else i say find a 190e with a blown motor and then but a different gas motor in it and while you are doing all that u still have the 190d to drive for fuel economy.

just keep me in mind if u wanna sell that 190d b4 u mess with it ok.

I definately wouldn't sell it, but if I ever had to you would be first on the list because you'd treat it right.

With a diesel purge, a new hood pad and exhaust system, I hope that will take some of the noise away from the engine. People just expect cars to sound like a gas powered Toyota, they need to go out and buy a diesel or an olderbenz diesel then they'd know..
