I just picked up a silver 89 190e 2.6 auto with 150,000 miles on the clock. it has a full service history although the last official mercedes service was at 92000. The car seems to be in fantastic condition - everything works, except the alarm (i dont have a remote control key.) Its got mercedes wide alloy wheels and different side panels (i think this was an extra that you could specify when buying it) ...

Anyway , i am well chuffed as it only cost me £600..

Can anyone tell me if there is anything i should get checked out on it... People say that 150,000 miles is nothing, but i'd love to keep this car going for a few years yet. I'd hate to see a major fault develop that could have been prevented now....
