Does anyone have any experience on the above car regarding a front end drop EVENLY after the vehicle sits for a couple of weeks. I've seen several posts re a slump on one side only for which there is a svc. bulletin. Dealer tells me my problem is normal and nothing wrong. Says he has seen new MB's on the lot that have droped after sitting.a while.

 

There was a recent thread on this topic. Do a search on "drop" and a thread called 95 SL600 Suspension Drop or something similar.

 

Yes, I've read that thread but it pertains to a drop on one side for which there is a service bulletin. My car drops evenly and I can't seem to find anything on it. Thanks anyway!

 

my 00 s500 front drops too, i thought it was normal. doesnt sit that long eather

No, it doesn't. It pertains to a drop of both sides of the front end--at the same time. And, there's no mention of a service bulletin.

Sorry, I missed that thread. However, I'm not sure '95 models had ABC, did they? As for the Service Bulletin, it is dated 12/5/01 and the # is P-B-32.50/09. It deals with Models 215 and 220 with ABC. My dealer said it didn't pertain to my problem but did the suggested service of replacing a valve and filter with a system flush. Thanks for the help, Lugnut.
