Default Most Popular Paint Colors

Does anyone have any data on the ranking of most popular paint colors ? Looking for an SLK350, love black, but there are two blacks, and some other colors get attention also, so
not sure and would like to know the ranking of colors.
Also, is there any advantage of one color black over the other ?

I read somewhere that the most common paint color for a car is white. Notice I said "common" and not popular.

Sorry for offering this, I know it's not any help. I had this info in the back of my head and I saw a chance to use it, so I did.

I'd go silver...It's easy maintenance. I have black and just can't seem to get back the original shine.

Bring back the shine. Wash and clay the entire car. Then use Meguiars # 83 on a cool day in the garage with a rotory buffer and the correct buffing wheel---not wool! This will take out all those swirl marks left from washing your car. Clean small areas under good light. Follow with #80 glaze and you will be amazed at what black can look like. You can even get out all the spider webs if you work at it. Finish with carnuba wax. More advise in the Meguiars forum. Have a look , they saved my oversprayed black SLK 320 clear coat with great advise. Hope this helps.

The M83 is absolute magic on so-so finishes. I prefer following that with the M03 Machine Glaze, but the M80 Speed Glaze I haven't tried yet. Both these products put vital oils and nutrients back in the paint and/or clearcoat. which is why the colors look so much deeper.
