Does anyone have the illuminated star installed? I was told that is not available in the USA yet. I am traveling to Germany so I am investigating if this option is worth it, and I will try to buy it there. Does it stay lit while driving? Does the star option installed in Europe function differently?

 

I'm also interested in the illuminated star, but my car is older (2007 CLS-550), and the Mercedes Benz dealer told me there is no kit available for my car. Is there anyway to modify the illuminated star kit intended for another model?

 

I'd like to install it, but I'm worried it won't look cool
